A scene from a walk I did along Tidal River at Wilsons Prom in Victoria Australia. There are many places to paint along this amazing Australian River, and this is one spot I liked.
It’s a fantastic place to take to the walking tracks. with its rugged coastline scenery its awe inspiring and each and every corner you take is asking to be painted. If you get a chance, I Would Thoroughly recommend that you go there and enjoy the fantastic coastline that Victoria has to offer. Wilson Promontory would be one of my favourite National Parks.

As an Australian Artist, I believe that trying to capture a small snapshot of what our natural surroundings look like is important for future generations to look back in time at. The simple beauty of a mother and small child playing in the shallow salt water inlet, can’t be denied.

The sun shone brightly on the peaceful stream meandering through Tidal River in Wilsons Promontory, Victoria, Australia. A mother and her young child stood at the edge of the stream, enjoying the tranquility of the moment.
The mother held her child’s hand as they stepped cautiously into the cool, clear water. The little one squealed in delight as the water lapped around her ankles, and she kicked her feet to create ripples in the stillness.
The mother smiled down at her daughter and gazed out at the lush greenery surrounding the stream. Birds sang in the trees, and a light breeze rustled the leaves. The mother and child shared an intimate moment, both feeling the magic of the place.
The child began to explore, picking up small stones and inspecting them before tossing them back into the stream. The mother followed, encouraging her daughter to explore and learn.
As the afternoon sunlight faded, the mother and child made their way back to shore. They both left with a feeling of contentment, knowing that they’d shared a special moment together.
